Sydney Women’s Rugby Union (SWRU) was incorporated in 2002, Since that time 17 Different clubs have competed for the honour of holding the Jack Scott Memorial Cup. This year the teams competing for the cup are; Bankstown Sports, Parramatta Two Blues, Penrith Shemus, Sydney University, Warringah Rats & Waverley. Sydney Women’s Rugby Union has enjoyed a successful representative history, since first competing in the Australian National Women's Championship Tournament in 2001 the SWRU Rep Team have won the cup a record 6 times! Presently Seven Current Australian Representative (Wallaroo’s) are playing in the SWRU Competition, they are; Chez Soon (c) Warringah Rats, Ruan Sims Warringah Rats, Tui Ormsby Warringah Rats, Selene Thornton Sydney Uni, Dalena Dennison Warringah Rats, Nicole Beck Sydney Uni & Dan Meskell Warringah Rats.
